Coffee with a Cop, Oct. 3

Cresco - Locally, the second annual Coffee with a Cop event will be held at A&W/Long John Silver’s on Wednesday, Oct. 3 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. 

Representatives from Cresco Police Department and Howard County Sheriff’s Department will be at A&W to get closer to those they serve. The public will be able to chat with the “cops” in a friendly atmosphere. 

After last year’s event, Cresco Police Chief Tim Ruroden noted it was a great way for the community to talk freely with law enforcement.

Howard County Sheriff Mike Miner said, “People can sit down with us and talk about positive things. If they have questions about anything, they can ask us.”

While there, get your picture taken with a law enforcement officer.
