Dates to remember for L.S. City Council special election

LIME SPRINGS - Howard County Auditor Julie Chapman noted ballots for the Aug. 18 Lime Springs City Council special election are ready for absentee voting.
Friday, Aug. 7, 2020 is the last day to mail out an absentee ballot. All absentee request forms must be in the Auditor’s Office by 5 p.m. on Aug. 7 for a ballot to be mailed out.
Absentee ballots must be postmarked by Aug. 17, 2020.
Monday, Aug. 17, 2020 is the last day to vote absentee in the Auditor’s Office.
On Aug. 18, 2020, polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
