Donations for fire victims now available to public

LIME SPRINGS - On Jan. 7, the Derrick and Michelle Ruggeberg family lost everything in a house fire.
The communities surrounding Lime Springs stepped up and collected clothing and toys for their three children. There was such an outpouring of support, there are many items left over.
Jami Schwickerath, organizer of the event, said the items are now open to everyone. She stated, “Anyone can come and get clothes.”
The items can be picked up at the Lime Springs Community Center until Monday, Jan. 30.
