Noah Joseph, a first grade student at Crestwood elementary, has proven being visually impaired doesn’t hold him down.
His teacher, Becca Ornter said, “He has loved painting this whole semester and really enjoyed creating this piece ‘Circles of Color’ in class. He is always making artwork as ‘bucket fillers’ and wanting to make it for, and give it to someone, to make their day better.”
Noah was given an Honorable Mention at the American Printing House for the Blind InSights Art Competition. For his work, he was awarded a ribbon and a monetary prize.
If he so desires, Noah can attend the awards ceremony in Louisville, Ky. in October. His was one of 90 projects chosen for the exhibition.
