Girls Day Out

Cresco - The Girls Day Out event is coming up quick! The shopping extravaganza is next week, Saturday, Feb. 23, at the Expo Center at the fairgrounds.

Staff of Times Plain Dealer work on the event all year long to give the ladies of the community a great place to kick the winter blues!

This 13th annual event is far from unlucky! It will be especially lucky for the first 100 shoppers, who will receive a great gift. There are also plenty of door prizes to be won throughout the day.

Some fun entertainment includes the ever-popular Leuthold’s Fashion Show and, new this year, some Notre Dame students will sing a few melodies.

There is still room for more vendors, but those attending so far include Liz Torgerson with thirty-one; Tara McConnell with Advocare; Marti & Company; Girl Scout Troop 75 with their cookies; Rita Dykstra with Color Street; Rhonda Thorman with Scentsy; Violet Wankerl with Vi’s Pies; Leonard Zeller with LZ Woodcrafts; Up & Running Electronics; Jessica Kapler with Norwex; Tracy Hageman with nails; Riverview Center of Decorah; and wine tasting from Winneshiek Winery of Decorah.
