Girls Day Out on Saturday

—Gather your besties for a day of fun, relaxation
CRESCO - Be prepared to be pampered at the 13th annual Girls Day Out, sponsored by Times Plain Dealer. The event takes place this Saturday, Feb. 23 from noon-4 p.m., with the first 100 lucky ladies getting a bag full of goodies from the various participating vendors.
There are all sorts of fun places to shop and test products. Some of those who have already signed up for the event include Liz Torgerson with thirty-one; Tara McConnell with Advocare; Marti & Company (jewelry and accessories); Girl Scout Troop 75 (cookies); Rita Dykstra with Color Street; Rhonda Thomann with Scentsy; Violet Wankerl with Vi’s Pies; Leonard Zeller with LZ Woodworking; Up & Running Electronics; Jessica Kapler with Norwex; Riverview Center of Decorah (center for abused women); Leisha Barr and Ann Casper with Pampered Chef; Cheryl Ludeking with SeneGence Cosmetics; Rochelle Mills with Tupperware; Sonya Nightingale with Essential Body Wear; and wine tasting from Winneshiek Winery of Decorah and Frisky Fox Vineyard of Riceville.
During the afternoon, different programs will be featured. They include a fashion show by Leuthold’s Clothing Store at 1 p.m.; a presentation by Mobile Mammas at 2 p.m.; and a song and preview of Lime Springs Children’s Theatre Troup’s next play, “Peter Pan, a Musical Adventure,” on April 12-13 at 3 p.m.
Lunch will be served on the grounds. Bring your girlfriends for awhile or all day. There will be lots to see and do!
