Hall of Fame nomination due date extended to March 11

HOWARD COUNTY - The Times Plain Dealer is sad to say it did not receive many nominations for Citizen of the Year, Organization or Hall of Fame awards.
Everybody knows someone who has tirelessly gave of their time to their community or county. Now is the time to recognize those people.
Our local volunteers have given hundreds of hours to benefit our area over their lifetimes. Can you spare just five minutes to nominate them to be recognized for their good deeds?
The new due date is March 11. E-mail a name and a sentence or two about why this person deserves the nomination to tpdeditor@crescotimes.com. You can also drop it at the Times Plain Dealer office or call Marcie at 563-657-3601.
