Immanuel Lutheran hosts Christmas event
On Dec. 20, Immanual Lutheran Church in Cresco hosted an event called, “Path to the Newborn King” in its parking lot. People could walk through or drive their cars to see seven different stations celebrating the Christmas story. There were also live calves, sheep and a donkey.
Event coordinator Cindy Yslas noted that 175 cars and 12 people walked through the stations. With between two and six people per car, Yslas said that almost 500 people attended the event. She noted that 40 people volunteered. “This was an amazing event and we received a lot of positive comments,” Yslas said.
