Let someone else do the dishes

NORTHEAST IOWA - Spring in Northeast Iowa is a busy and stressful time. The farmers are getting out in the fields. The seniors are getting ready to attend prom and graduation. You may even be preparing for your own senior’s graduation party.
And don’t forget about Easter and Mother’s Day. Mom deserves a break from figuring out a menu every day, making sure all the ingredients are in the refrigerator and cupboard, prepping and cooking the meal and then cleaning up after it has been scarfed down by her hungry family.
Let some of the local eateries take some of that burden from Mom’s shoulders. Allow them to cook some meals, either dine-in or take-out, and let them do the dishes!
As a reminder, all the local restaurants have gift certificates, as well. Eating out is a great idea for a Mother’s Day, Father’s Day or even a graduation gift!
Some area options include:
• Sue-Z-Q’s Family Dining: Located at 726 2nd Avenue SE., Cresco.
Sue-Z-Q’s has the best breakfast in town, but is becoming a “go to place” for lunch and supper as well.

For breakfast they have excellent omelets, pancakes, French toast, biscuits & gravy and so much more. Lunch is a hot roast beef sandwich, burgers, sandwiches and more. Supper they have chicken, fish, burgers and more. You just can’t go wrong and if you don’t want to eat in, just get it to go!
Now that the weather is warming up, don’t forget to stop for a hard-serve ice cream treat from WW Homestead Dairy or soft-serve ice cream for cones and bowls.
