Smith wins L.S. City Council seat

Jen Smith won the Lime Springs City Council seat in the Aug. 18 Special Election for City Council over Brian Johnson.
Smith had 61 votes from Tuesday, plus four absentee for a total of 65 versus Johnson's 51 votes. There were three write-ins.
The votes will be canvased and officially accepted at the Monday, Aug. 24 Supervisors meeting.
