Standoff in L. Springs

Lime Springs - Howard County Sheriff’s Department tried to deliver a warrant on a failure to appear on a charge of Theft in the 2nd, on Sunday, March 24, 2019.
The accused, Tyler Scott Juveland, age 30, was supposed to appear in court on March 18. Because of the no-show, he was also charged with Habitual Offender Enhancement, with bail set at $15,000.
There was a short standoff before he was taken into custody.
The theft charge states Juveland, on or about the month of June 2018, in Howard County, willfully took possession or control of the property of Tyler Dozark, with the value in excess of $1,000 but less than $10,000, a Class D Felony.
To make him a habitual offender, he was also convicted of fifth degree drug possession in Freeborn County, Minnesota, on April 6, 2010 and in Waseca County, Minnesota for the same charge on Dec. 30, 2014.
