Steger returning to H.C. jail

CRESCO - Brian Alan Steger, age 31, of Colesburg, Iowa, is set to return to the Howard County Jail after violating his probation orders.
On Nov. 5, 2021, Steger was arrested after trashing a hotel room at 10th Hole Bar & Grill, with damages of $7,089.18.
On Feb. 14, 2022, he was sentenced to not exceed 10 years in prison, which was suspended. He was also fined $1,375, which was suspended. Steger was to be on probation for five years and was ordered to reside at the West Union Facility for one year.
On May 23, 2022, Steger was arrested in Delaware County and charged with operating while intoxicated — 3rd offense; interference with official acts (resisting arrest); driving while barred; driving while revoked; driving while suspended; public intoxication; and driving without an Interlock Device.
He will be returning to Howard County and sentenced for violating probation.
