Updated list of closures from Gov. Kim Reynolds

DES MOINES - More orders were handed down by Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds after a press release on Thursday, March 26.
Basically, the public health disaster emergency will expire on April 16, 2020, at 11:59 p.m., unless sooner terminated or extended by the governor.
Extending closures
Businesses that were already shut down had another week added, now staying closed through April 7. They include:
• Movie theaters
• Bars
• Casinos
• Restaurant dining rooms
• Gyms/fitness centers
• Swimming pools
• Salons
• Medical spas
• Barbershops
• Tattoo establishments
• Tanning facilities
• Massage therapy establishments
• Senior citizen centers/ Adult daycare facilities
• Mass gatherings of more than 10 — social, community, spiritual, religious, recreational, leisure and sporting gatherings
• Nonessential or elective surgeries and procedures
• Dental services
More business closures
More retail establishments were added to the Public Health Emergency Declaration, lasting until April 7, including:
• Bookstores
• Clothing stores
• Shoe stores
• Jewelry stores;
• Luggage stores
• Cosmetic, beauty or perfume stores
• Florists
• Furniture and home furnishing stores.
Healthcare
• Healthcare facilities have to screen all staff for fever or respiratory symptoms.
• Reynolds suspended several regulatory provisions, including in-person visits with nursing facility residents.
• Suspended involuntary discharge for non-payment.
• Allowed retired public disaster responders to be re-empbloyed without losing pensions or other compensation.
• Suspened penalties on being late on car registration.
•Suspended evictions.
• Suspended regulations to pay court debt within 30 days.
