CRESCO - Cecelia Praska, age 87, of Cresco, Iowa, passed away at her home on July 8, 2020.
A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at Notre Dame Catholic Church in Cresco. Visitation will take place on Monday, July 13, 2020 from 4-6 p.m. at Hindt-Hudek Funeral Home in Cresco.
Cecelia Margaret Praska was born on Feb. 23, 1933 to Francis and Beatrice (Polansky) Lipa. On April 17, 1950 she married Raymond C. Praska. They were blessed with one daughter, Patricia. The couple farmed near Schley until 2006, when they moved to Cresco.
Cecelia enjoyed flowers and gardening. She also enjoyed doing crafts and attending craft shows.
She is survived by her daughter, Patricia (William) Roney; a sister, Anna Mae (Ray) Maravetz; and her furry pal, Jodi.
Cecelia was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ray in 2018; her brother, Clarence; and sisters Mary (Vince) Hosek and Agnes (Ed) Novak.
