CRESCO - Cynthia “Cindy” Jo (Pass) Davidson, age 67, passed away peacefully on Friday, Jan. 29, 2021, due to heart-related issues, surrounded by her family at Gundersen Lutheran Hospital in La Crosse, Wis.

Cindy was born in Waterloo, Iowa, on Nov. 22, 1953, and was the first born child of Robert E. Pass, Sr. and Marilyn L. (Ertel) Pass. She graduated from Crestwood High School in 1972. She went on to Western Wisconsin Technical College, where she graduated with honors.
On Aug. 14, 1978, she married Michael T. Davidson; together they had a son, Wayne M. Davidson in 1981. They later divorced and always remained friends.
Cindy worked in many settings during her lifetime and was always well-known for her naturally friendly personality. She didn’t know a stranger and was always ready to give a helping hand.
Her passion in life was her family first, whom she loved deeply. Next to that was rescuing animals, of which her family always laughed she had too many, but giving them life was truly her passion. Cindy loved to listen to 80s music, sing, dance and laugh. She enjoyed attending garage sales and liked to bake and give her delicious banana bread to friends and family.
Cindy always kept up on local and national news. She was an avid Trump supporter and followed political news. She attended First Congregational Church of Cresco, with her mother, Marilyn L. Pass, and loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
She is survived by her son, Wayne M. Davidson of Wisconsin; her mother, Marilyn L. Pass of Cresco; siblings, Brad Pass of Houston, Minn., Bobby E. (Laurie) Pass, Jr. of Canton, Minn., Carolyn (Rich) Baker of Hokah, Minn., Cathy Opperman of Oelwein, Iowa and Charlene (Mike) Brumfield of Preston, Minn.; former husband, Michael Davidson of Massachusetts; nieces, Jackie (Pass) Shannon, Nicole (Baker) Roedel, LaSarha Pass, Cayla (Opperman) Morris, Jenny (Brumfield) Olson and Casey Pass; nephews, Richie Baker, Cody Opperman, Bobby Pass III and Tyler Brumfield; and many great-nieces and nephews that she loved so much.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert E. Pass, Sr.; brother-in-law, John Opperman; infant sister and brother; infant niece, Jamie; and many beloved pets.
