WATERLOO - Linda M. Walton, age 68, formerly of Cresco, Iowa, passed away on Dec. 18, 2020 at UnityPoint – Allen Hospital in Waterloo, Iowa of cancer.
There will be no funeral services. Linda’s wishes were cremation.
Linda May Walton was born on March 30, 1952, to Francis and Rita (Hovey) Walton in Cresco. She graduated with the class of 1971. She was a housecleaner.
Linda will be missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her mother, Rita M. Walton of Cresco; her sisters, Barbara (Charles) Trouten of Cresco, Mary Lee (Mic) Heimer of Rochester, Minn., Julie (Francis) Monthy of Cresco, Becky (Pat) McGee of Cresco and Susan (Bill) Pierce of Simpsonville, S.C.; and her brothers, David (Ann) Walton of Cresco and Donnie Walton of Cresco.
She was preceded in death by her father, Francis; one nephew; one brother-in-law; and her long-time significant other, Dan Youngblut of Waterloo.
