Riceville - Sharon L. Rowe, age 63, of Riceville, Iowa passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2018 in Mason City, Iowa as a result of injuries from a motorcycle accident.

There will be a gathering for friends and family at Hindt Funeral Home in LeRoy, Minn. from 9 a.m. until noon on Saturday, Nov. 3, 2018. Burial will take place in Ostrander Cemetery. Condolences may be left at www.Hindtfuneralhomes.com.

Sharon L. Berg was born on May 14, 1955 in Spring Valley, Minn. to Milford and Hazel (Leland) Berg. She attended and graduated from LeRoy-Ostrander High School in 1973 and was united in marriage to Dale Throckmorton on July 7, 1973. To this union three sons were born, Corey, Matthew and Ryan. They were later divorced. In 2000 Sharon was united in marriage to Joe Rowe. He passed away in November 2008. 

Sharon worked for the Ostrander (Minn.) Care Center for a period of time before being employed by LeRoy Products Co. (L.P.C.) in LeRoy. After L.P.C. closed, she started work at WinTech Electronics in LeRoy.

Sharon enjoyed camping, antiquing and riding motorcycle, but she especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and loved getting together with family and friends.

She is survived by her three sons, Corey Throckmorton (Sara Guevremont) of Lime Springs, Iowa, Matthew Throckmorton of Wykoff, Minn. and Ryan Throckmorton of Preston, Minn.; two grandchildren, Kyra and Draven; and three sisters, Donna (Gordie) Briggs of Rochester, Minn., Eileen Voyna of Ostrander and Karen Williams of LeRoy. She is also survived by her significant other, Joe Dahly of Riceville. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Joe Rowe; two sisters in infancy; and two brothers-in-law, Frank Voyna and Ben Williams.
