Crestwood baseball team drops doubleheader to Decorah, earns split against New Hampton

CRESCO - Despite a good effort, the Crestwood baseball team was unable to slow down a stout Decorah baseball squad on June 16 at home as the Vikings swept a doubleheader from the Cadets, 8-4 and 13-3 in five innings, during opening night for both squads.

Playing a doubleheader at New Hampton on June 19, the Cadets tallied an 8-6 win in game one to earn their first win of the season before the Chickasaws won game two, 12-1, in five innings. Complete Cadet statistics will be in the June 24 issue of the Times Plain Dealer.
