Crestwood boy cagers beat Decorah, Waterloo West; lose to Denver

DENVER - Despite a solid effort by the Crestwood varsity boys’ basketball team on Jan. 19 against Denver, the Cadets couldn’t get over the hump as the Cyclones held on for a 67-63 win.
The Cadets bounced back from the loss to crush Decorah, 69-51, on the road on Jan. 21 and they edged Waterloo West, 63-61, in overtime on Jan. 23 at home. Complete Cadet statistics from all three games will be in the Jan. 27 issue of the Times Plain Dealer.
