CRESCO - The Crestwood varsity boys' basketball team sank three free throws in the final 1:03 of the game to clinch a 58-55 win over Waverly-Shell Rock on Jan. 29 at home. Reid Wiley hit one free throw at the 1:03 mark and Jeremy Andera hit two free throws with 22 seconds left to give the Cadets a three-point lead. A three-point shot by the Go-Hawks with two seconds left was no good as the Cadets held on for the win. Complete Cadet statistics will be in the Feb. 3 issue of the Times Plain Dealer.
