Crestwood girls' basketball team trounces Comets; loses to Decorah, Dubuque Senior

CRESCO - An outstanding effort for 32 minutes on offense and defense allowed the Crestwood girls’ basketball team to post an impressive 57-24 win over the Charles City Comets at home on Jan. 17.

Squaring off against Class 4A No. 6 Decorah on Friday, Jan. 20 at home, the Cadets were unable to keep pace as the Vikings posted a 71-34 win.

Playing Dubuque Senior on Jan. 21 in Dubuque, the Cadets trailed by only two points going into the fourth before the Rams went on a 19-13 win to earn a 61-53 win. The loss dropped Crestwood’s record to 6-9.
