Schmauss, Voyna win NEIC wrestling titles

WAUKON - Crestwood grapplers Mitchell Schmauss (106 pounds) and Brock Voyna (182) both won individual championships on Saturday, Jan. 28, at the Northeast Iowa Conference Boys’ Wrestling Tournament.
Carter Schmauss (113), Cade Korsmo (138) and Cole Butikofer (160) all placed second for Crestwood.
As a team, the Cadets racked up 197 points to finish second overall. Waverly-Shell Rock took first with 314.5 points, and New Hampton-Turkey Valley was third with 178 points.
