Three Cadet boys earn NEIC basketball honors

CRESCO - Three Crestwood boys’ basketball players earned All-Northeast Iowa Conference honors for the 2019-20 season.
Junior Carter Henry was named to the First Team, senior Garret Ollendieck was selected to the Second Team and junior Reid Wiley earned Honorable Mention.
Henry was third in scoring for the Cadets with 194 total points, good for an average of 8.4 points per game, was second in rebounds with 120, led the team with 164 assists, had a team-high 35 steals and 18 blocks.
Ollendieck led the Cadets with 278 total points, good for an average of 12.1 points per game, led the team with 35 three-pointers made, was first in rebounds with 128, had 35 assists, 30 steals and six blocks.
Wiley was second in points scored with 263, good for an average of 11.4 points per game, was second in three-pointers made with 33, had 41 rebounds, 68 assists and 29 steals.
The Cadets finished the season at 12-11 overall, including a 7-5 mark and third place in the NEIC. Decorah won the conference title at 10-2. Charles City and Waverly-SR tied for second at 9-3. Waukon finished at 5-7, New Hampton was 2-10 and Oelwein finished at 0-12.
