CRESCO - The Crestwood varsity boys’ basketball team opened the season with a thrilling 52-51 win over Denver on the road on Nov. 28. Facing North Fayette Valley on Dec. 1 at home, the Cadets raced to a 42-27 halftime lead and sailed to a 69-52 win over the Tigerhawks to improve to 2-0.

DUBUQUE - Crestwood's football season came to an end on Friday, Nov. 4  in the Class 2A Quarterfinals with a 41-6 loss to Dubuque Wahlert. The defeat concluded Crestwood's season with a 7-4 overall record. Stats will appear in the Wednesday, Nov. 9 issue of the Times.
