Cresco - Are you ready for a little trip? You can get the feel of a New York City restaurant, a New Orleans jazz club and a Los Angeles comedy club, all without leaving Howard County.
Get ready for the 2019 Jazz Spotlight on Saturday, April 6 at 6:30 p.m. or Sunday, April 7 at 1 p.m. The event features Crestwood Junior High Jazz Band, along with the high school Jazz Ensemble, Band and Band Ensembles, all under the direction of Jason Dobbs.
Throw in some comedy routines, dancing, a delicious meal and “mocktails,” and you have a night to remember!
The menu choices include rack of pork, chicken cordon bleu or veggie lasagna. Meals include strawberry spinach salad, baby red potatoes, green beans with bacon and almonds, dinner roll, yellow cake with strawberries, along with milk, coffee or water in addition to the aforementioned mocktails!
Cost for the meal is $22 or $12 for children 10 years or younger. Reservation forms are available to Crestwood High School, from band students, Cresco Bank & Trust, CUSB Bank, www.howard-winn.k12.ia.us or on the Howard-Winn Schools Facebook page.
