Lime Springs Library Lines 7/15/26

    On July 9 Phil Hebrink came to the library for an author visit about his book “The Many Lives Of Ellie, the Cello.”  Mark Sander delighted the group with his musical talent by playing the cello.  Fifteen people attended.

    There will be no Bingo on July 18. The next bingo will be Saturday, August 15.

    The Lime Springs Library will be showing a special movie for kindergarten through 6th grade.  They are invited to come July 24 to have a fun time at the library.  The movie will start at 2:30 p.m. and finish at 4:00 p.m.  A snack will be provided during the movie.

    A Social Event for Adults is planned for Saturday, August 1 at 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.  There will be dominoes, and a variety of board games and card games to play.  Please mark this special date on your calendar and come to have a fun evening.

    The “Monday Morning Coffee Group” meets at 9:30 a.m. every Monday at the Library. Also, the “Coffee Connections” group meets every Thursday afternoon from 3:00 p.m.to 4:00 p.m.  Enjoy a cup of coffee or hot chocolate and socialize with friends.  Everyone welcome.   

    Hotspots are available for patrons 18 and up at no charge with a Lime Springs Public Library card.  Checkouts are for 1 week.  Free Wi-Fi is available 24/7 outside the library when parking in front. Please call 563-566-2207 with any questions.     

    The library has a Pickleball set, a tennis racket set, badminton set, a basketball, volleyball, and soccer ball available to check out and use at Browns Park and the Volleyball court near the pool.  Check out the items and return it the next day during library hours or in the evenings. The library is open until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday or Thursday. Questions call 566-2207.
