CRESCO - Kyle Teeling is beginning his position as vice president of Ancillary Services at Regional Health Services of Howard County.
Teeling’s position involves oversight for Cresco Medical Clinic, Senior Life Solutions, along with lab, radiology and rehabilitation.
A native of Sumner, Iowa, he received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Northern Iowa and a master’s degree in healthcare administration from Des Moines University. Teeling’s family includes wife Jenilee and daughters Ainsley, Braylee and Emeryn.
Teeling, who commutes from Sumner to Cresco, enjoys the rural hospital setting.
“I spent a little over six years in a similar type of rural critical access facility,” he said. “I also had some experience in clinic management, and it lined up nicely to the responsibility here with some of the hospital service and clinic side as well. I definitely like and enjoy this type of environment and atmosphere.”
Teeling said the Regional Health Services of Howard County community, as well as the Cresco community have welcomed him and his family:
“I’ve had interactions with staff as well as the Board of Trustees,” Teeling said. “Right before I started, the foundation put on the Jingle and Mingle event. I was able to attend that with my wife. I’ve already felt and witnessed the community connection and interaction between the community and hospital.
“My first five or six weeks have definitely been a great experience and opportunity for me, and I’m excited to work with all the providers and staff,” Teeling said.
