Carin Perkins’ Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, June 9, 2024, at 1:00 pm at the Kessel Lodge in Cresco. Please join the family in celebrating Carin’s life.
Carin Irene Perkins, age 73, died Tuesday, January 2, 2024, in Woodland, CA. She was born on September 7, 1950, to Dr. Donald and Helen Perkins who resided in Cresco from 1960 to their deaths in 1997 and 2016 respectively. Carin was the “C” in the Perkins’ alphabet family, A, B, C, D, E, F, G. Carin was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Donald in 1987.
Carin died of Eosinophilic Granulomatosis with Polyangiitis (formerly Churg-Strauss), a very rare form of vasculitis - incidence in the US ranging from 0.6 to 3.4 cases per million.
