Cadet softball team downs SW, Kee, wins three at NFV Tourney; loses to SA, W-SR

CRESCO - The Crestwood softball team lost to St. Ansgar, 1-4, on May 22 before crushing South Winn, 12-0, in five innings on May 24 at home.

Playing at Lansing Kee on May 28, the Cadets rallied late to nip the Kee Hawks, 8-7.

Facing Waverly-Shell Rock at home on May 30, the Cadets took an early lead before the Go-Hawks rallied to win, 10-5.

Competing at the North Fayette Valley Tournament on May 31 and June 1, the Cadets won three of four games. Crestwood edged NFV, 5-4; downed MFL-MM, 4-0; lost to Dyersville Beckman, 3-4; and crushed Oelwein, 10-0.
