Cadets defeat Waukon; advance to football quarterfinals

WAUKON - The Crestwood football team held off a fourth quarter rally to trip Waukon, 20-18, in the second round of the Class 2A playoffs on Oct. 28. The Cadets (7-3) will play Dubuque Wahlert (8-2) in the quarterfinals on November 4 at 7 p.m. in Dubuque at Loras College in the Rock Bowl, which is the home field for the Loras Duhawks' football team.
