Crestwood girls' basketball team downs North Fayette Valley in region tourney

CRESCO - The Class 3A No. 5 Crestwood girls' basketball team shook off a slow start to rout North Fayette Valley, 65-51, on Feb. 15 at home in the first round of the region tournament. The Cadets will play either New Hampton or Waukon at home on Feb. 19 at 7 p.m. in the region semifinals. The region finals are scheduled for Feb. 22 at 5 p.m. at Dyersville Beckman.
