Howitzer present at Cadet football game Friday

CRESCO - For Friday night's Crestwood home football game vs Decorah (on Sept. 4), the local National Guard Recruiter, SSG Adrian Rico, has made arrangements to have a Howitzer cannon at the game to celebrate when the Cadets score a touchdown. Below you will see the specific information on what to expect Friday night.   

What to Expect:

• Staffing: 2 Soldiers total 
• HMMWV and M119A3 Howitzer firing wax rounds (10 rounds total)
• Noise level: Approximately 150 decibels at the source, comparable to a large firework
• We will fire one round each time the Cadets score a touchdown.
