Mashek wins Football Contest for week of Sept. 20

CRESCO - Andrew Mashek of Cresco earned first place in the Times Plain Dealer Football Contest for the week of Sept. 20 by correctly picking 12 of 15 games and coming closest in the tie-breaker game.

Jan Kreitzer of Cresco was second with 12 of 15 correct but was not as close in the tie-breaker game.

For placing first, Mashek will receive will $20 in Cresco Dollars and one free A&W Cresco Combo Meal. The games Mashek missed were: Clarksville over Turkey Valley, Dubuque over Loras and Houston over Jacksonville.

For taking second, Kreitzer will receive one McAllister’s Gift Certificate. Games Kreitzer missed included: Dubuque over Loras, Chargers over Vikings and Houston over Jacksonville.
