Three Cadets qualify for State Cross Country Meet

MONTICELLO - Competing at the Class 2A Cross Country State Qualifying Meet in Monticello, three Crestwood runners finished in the top 15 individually to punch their ticket to the State Meet, which will be on Oct. 28 in Fort Dodge. In the girls' race, Kinze Shea placed third and Laney Peter finished eighth for the Cadets. In the boys' race, Cadet Nathan Ahern finished sixth to qualify for State. Shea and Peter will run at 10:30 a.m. at the State Meet on Oct. 28. Ahern will run at 11:15 a.m. on Oct. 28.
