Turkey Valley Boys' Golf Team nabs third at Sectionals, Advances to Districts

GUTTENBERG - Turkey Valley’s Caleb Kurtenbach shot an impressive round of 86 (45-41) to earn medalist honors and help the Trojan boys’ golf team finish third at the Class 1A Sectional Tournament on May 10 at Guttenberg with a score of 365.
By finishing in the top three of the team standings, the Trojans earned the right to advance to the District Tournament on May 15 at Highland Park Golf Course in Mason City. Clayton Ridge took first at 349 and Starmont was second at 357. Complete results will be in the May 17 issue of the Times Plain Dealer.
