Cresco - Northeast Iowa Community College (NICC) Business and Community Solutions is offering the two-session class “Introduction to Web Page & Blog Creations!” (#56608) on Tuesday, March 7 and Thursday, March 9, from 6-7:30 p.m. at the NICC Cresco Center, located at 1020 2nd Ave. SE.
It’s never been easier for community members to create their own web page or blog. In this class, use free software to make a personal or small business presence on the internet with a unique web address.
Participants will also learn how to use premium services for a domain name and hosting. A variety of website building platforms will be explored, including WordPress, Webs, and Wix.
The emphasis of this class is on creating and the mechanics of a web presence, rather than the content of a page. Join in this experience and acquire the basics to move forward to develop your very own web page. Laptops will be provided for each class participant to use in class.
