Crestwood baseball, softball teams ready for post-season

CRESCO - The post-season playoff brackets for the Crestwood baseball and softball teams were recently released. The Crestwood baseball team will travel to Denver on Friday, July 3 at 7 p.m. to take on the Denver Cyclones in the first round of the district tournament. The winner will play either New Hampton or Waukon on Tuesday, July 7 at 7 p.m. at Waukon.

In the Class 3A Region 2 Softball bracket, the Crestwood Cadets will play Oelwein at home on Thursday, July 9 at 7 p.m. in the first round. The winner of this game will play either Dubuque Wahlert or Waukon on July 11 at 5 p.m. at Dubuque Wahlert in the semifinals. The region final game is scheduled for July 14 at a site to be determined.
