Vsetecka wins TPD Football Contest for Week One

CRESCO - Quentin Vsetecka of Cresco correctly picked 13 of 15 games and was closest in the tie-breaker game to earn first place in the first week of the Times Plain Dealer Football Contest.

Rebecca Caffrey of Cresco took second place. She picked 13 of 15 games correctly, but she was not as close as Vsetecka in the tie-breaker game.

For placing first, Vsetecka will receive $20 in Cresco Chamber Dollars and one free A&W Cresco Combo Meal. Caffrey will receive $10 in Cresco Chamber Dollars for placing second.

The two games Vsetecka and Caffrey missed were Michigan over Oklahoma and the New York Jets over Tennessee.
