Cresco - Daniel A. Wildman, age 27, of Cresco, Iowa, died on Monday, March 20, 2017 at Waverly Medical Center in Waverly, Iowa.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, March 28, 2017, at First Congregational Church (130 3rd Ave. East) in Cresco, with Pastor Tim Sir presiding. Visitation will be from 9-11 a.m., Tuesday, at the church. Hindt-Hudek Funeral Home is assisting the family.Daniel Alan “Dan” Wildman was born on April 2, 1989, son of Robert and Sharon (Dorn) Wildman in Cresco. He attended Crestwood High School. He was a very outgoing and energetic person who loved being outdoors. Dan was a hard worker who enjoyed carpentry and farming. He liked fishing and ice fishing, hunting, snowmobiling and boating. He was a friendly person who was willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. His son, Ryland, and family were very important to him.
Dan is survived by his son, Ryland; mother, Sharon (Paul Peterson) Wildman of Bloomington, Minn.; brothers, Edward (Peggy) Nehring of Navarre, Fla., Steven (Olga) Wildman and their son, Yuri of Cresco and David (fiancé Coty Busswitz) Wildman of Apple Valley, Minn.; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert; sister in infancy, Sarah; maternal grandparents, Walter (Clara) Dorn; and paternal grandparents, Howard (Ruthie) Wildman.
