Formerly of Riceville - Rose Senne, age 84, formerly of Riceville, Iowa passed away on April 14, 2017 at Lakeview Health Center in West Salem, Wis.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Riceville, with Father Mark Murphy officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Riceville. Friends may call at the church one hour before service time. Lindstrom Funeral Home in Riceville is in charge of arrangements.
Rose was born March 21, 1933 to Edmund J. Mulick and Mary (Burns) Mulick in Riceville. She graduated from Riceville High School. She worked as a dental assistant and later as a homemaker, assisting people so they could remain in their homes.
She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and keeping up with her soap operas. Rose loved rain, thunderstorms and playing bingo.
Rose leaves behind her daughter, Virginia (Senne) Averhoff (Dale Floody); granddaughters, Maggie (Averhoff) (Justin) Hunt and Miss Kate, Jasmine (Averhoff) (Cody) Carlson, Keily and Kiana, and Taylor Averhoff (Brandon Noble); and grandson, Ryan Zielke, and friend, Emma. Also surviving is a nephew, Brian (Judy) Weber, and nieces, Gail (Tom) Miller and Jane (Bill) McGuire.
She was preceded in death by her beloved sister, Arlys (Mulick) Weber; her mother, Mary Mulick; her father, Ed Mulick; and brother-in-law, Clemence Weber.
