Baseball playoff pairings released

CRESCO - The Iowa High School Athletic Association released the baseball playoff pairings for Class 1A (Turkey Valley) and Class 2A (Crestwood).
In Class 2A Substate 3 District 6, Crestwood (7-15) will play Osage (8-10) at 5 p.m. on Saturday, July 10 at Mikkelson Park in New Hampton in the first round. The winner will play Garner-Hayfield-Ventura (16-3) at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 13 at Garner in the district semifinals.
The winner will face either Forest City (12-10), New Hampton (11-13) or Central Springs (8-12) in the district final at 7 p.m. on July 17 at Garner. The substate final is scheduled for 7 p.m. on July 20 at Mason City High School.
In Class 1A Substate 2 District 4, Turkey Valley (6-16) will play St. Ansgar (19-6) at 7 p.m. on July 10 at South Winn. The winner will face either South Winn (21-5) or Ed-Co (5-13) at 7 p.m. on July 13 at South Winn in the district semifinals. The district finals are set for 7 p.m. on July 17 in New Albin. The substate final is scheduled for 7 p.m. on July 20 at Charles City.
