“It was a very close meet that we were fortunate to see benefits of our hard work,” Cadet Coach Jason Sorenson said. “I really think the girls are starting to understand their individual golf games and how to manage themselves as they play.
“You can't always control the final score, but you can control your approach on each individual shot you take.  We've been working hard on visualizing our shots and doing our best to execute what we see.  It is always a goal to be mentally tough on the golf course,” Sorenson said.

N-P Tourney
Competing at the Nashua-Plainfield Tourney Saturday, the Cadets placed third at 233. N-P was first at 217 and Grundy Center was second at 227.
Cadet scores included: Hailey Panos 54, Kryslynn Ruppert 56, Ashley Voves 60, Haley Martin 63, Karley Freidhof 66.
“We finally had some decent weather for a golf meet,” Cadet Coach Jason Sorenson said. “Some penalty strokes got the best of us today.  We are searching for a little more consistency to help us be more competitive. We will keep learning and get better.”
