Cresco Area Trapshooting Team performs well in two meets

 

CALMAR - The Cresco Area Clay Crushers Trapshooting Team performed well at the South Winn meet on April 23 as several individuals finished in the top five.
In the Ladies’ Senior Division, Abbie Burke placed third with a score of 33 and Allie Burke was fourth at 31. In the Mens’ Senior Division, Sawyer and Stone Peckham tied for fourth with a score of 43.
In the Ladies’ Intermediate Division, Audrey Ferrie finished first (28 score), Katie Pinter was second (18) and Alaina Bina was third (17). In the Mens’ Intermediate Division, Kody Schmelzer was first (38). Paul Hanni and Spencer Moser tied for second place (37).
The Cresco Squad 3 had the highest team score at 186. Others included: Squad 1 - 152; Squad 6 - 145; Squad 2 - 119; Squad 5 - 102; Team Pigeon Pounders - 93; Individuals - 78.

April 26 meet
Competing at Chase the Adventure near Calmar on April 26, Stone Peckham of the Cresco Area Clay Crushers posted the highest individual men’s score with a 45. This marked the first time a member of the Cresco Area team finished first individually this season.
Allison Burke placed third in the ladies’ division with a score of 32.
