Crestwood volleyball team defeated by New Hampton in region tourney

NEW HAMPTON - The Crestwood volleyball team battled hard against New Hampton in the first round of the Class 2A Region 5 Tournament on Oct. 17 before falling to the Chickasaws in three games (23-25, 17-25, 18-25). The loss ended Crestwood's season at 14-24 overall. New Hampton advanced to face Osage in the semifinals on Oct. 19. Crestwood statistics will be in the Oct. 26 issue of the Times Plain Dealer.
