Goodman breaks Cadet girls' basketball five-on-five scoring mark in win
DECORAH - Senior Sharon Goodman broke the Crestwood girls' basketball five-on-five scoring record with 26 points during a convincing 59-19 rout of Spring Grove on Saturday, Dec. 14 at Luther College. Goodman's 26 points against the Lions gives her 1,398 total points, which is a new five-on-five girls' basketball points record at Crestwood. The Cadets began five-on-five play in girls' basketball starting with the 1993-94 season. Katie Kosters, a 2000 Crestwood graduate, held the previous five-on-five mark with 1,397 points. Lori Zeimetz, who played six-on-six basketball for the Cadets from 1988-92, holds the all-time Crestwood girls record for points scored with 1,519 points.
