No. 2 Crestwood wrestlers dominate NH-TV, 56-15; advance to State Team Duals

CRESCO - The Class 2A No. 2 Crestwood wrestling team trounced No. 18 New Hampton-Turkey Valley, 56-15, in the Region Team Duals on Tuesday, Feb. 9 at home to earn a berth in the Class 2A State Team Dual Tournament. The State Team Duals will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 17, at 9 a.m. at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines. The No. 2 Cadets will face No. 7 Creston-OM in the quarterfinal round at 9 a.m. on Feb. 17. The winner of this dual will take on either No. 3 Osage or No. 6 Winterset in the semifinals at 1 p.m. The championship dual will be held at 6:30 p.m. Individual match results from the dual against NH-TV will be in the Feb. 17 issue of the TImes Plain Dealer.
