Softball playoff pairings released

CRESCO - The Class 3A and Class 1A softball playoff pairings for the 2020 season were released by the Iowa Girls’ High School Athletic Union. Crestwood plays in Class 3A and Turkey Valley plays in Class 1A.

In Class 3A, Crestwood will host Waukon on July 15 at 7 p.m. in the First Round of Region 6. The winner will play either North Fayette Valley or New Hampton in the Region Semifinal on July 17 at 7 p.m. at Crestwood. The Region 6 Final is scheduled for July 20 at 7 p.m. at a site to be determined.

In Class 1A, Turkey Valley will receive a first round by in Region 4 before facing either Lansing Kee or South Winn on July 15 at 7 p.m. at Turkey Valley. The winner will play in the Region Semifinal against either Mason City Newman, West Central or Nashua-Plainfield. The Region 4 Final is scheduled for July 20 at 7 p.m. at a site to be determined.
