Waukon trips No. 8 Crestwood girls in region semifinals, 60-59

CRESCO - Waukon's Annika Headington hit a two-point basket at the buzzer to lift the Indians to a 60-59 win over the Crestwood girls' basketball team in the Class 3A Region 4 Semifinals on Feb. 19 at Crestwood. The loss ended Crestwood's season at 18-5 overall. Waukon (15-8) will advance to play either Davenport Assumption or Anamosa in the Region Final on Feb. 22 in Dyersville.
